Airplanes don't take off into the sky out of nowhere. Engineers, technicians, operators, installers, fabricators — every one of us is a part of building these airborne engineering marvels. Without us, air travel would only exist in our imaginations.
We're Making it Fly is about making sure the people who build and maintain airplanes have good jobs and solid benefits that give them and their families freedom to enjoy life.
Unfortunately as gas prices and home prices skyrocket, more and more workers in our factories are struggling to make ends meet. Workers from Charleston, SC to Wilmington, NC, are all telling us the same thing, what we’re earning is not keeping up with rising costs leaving us with less in our pockets.
It's not rocket science… a happy, respected workforce builds better and safer aircraft that the world trusts. We want to ensure that anyone currently in or entering the aerospace industry can have a long lasting career.
